Dhananjay Ghosal is a Bengali writer. He writes poems, novels and various
types of critical essays on the basis of his own realization from one and
half decades. In his novels social life, human relation, eastern ethos are
reflected. He has done a lot of research work on Folk-Culture of Bengal and
history of 19th century.
His poems are related about spiritual love and consciousness of humanity. He
is the Editor of a literary magazine Balaka since 1992. Till date
approximately 300 writers have written in this magazine in different issues.
Dhananjay Ghosal is a good speaker. He gets invitation from many valuable
organizations to express his views about classical and modern literature of
Bengal. |

For his literary works he received 'Sahitya Academy Travel Grant' in 2006.
And he wants to travel Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram for 'Writers Meet' of North
East India. Bengali literature is being enlightened by him and will be more
enriched in near future. |
