'Rabindranath Tagore in Theatre' is the forthcoming issue of Balaka magazine shortly to commemorate the 150th birth year of Rabindranath Tagore. It will be enriched with the literary and analytical contribution of 35th Rresearchers-Professors Literatures. In addition to that there will be a segment of reprints of expressions of experience of some people who had directly worked with tagore in theatre. This section compreses of writings of Bijon Bihari Bhattacharya, Amita Sen, Ashamukul Das and Surupa Debi (daughter of Abanindranath Tagore). The voluminous issue is estimated to be of nearly 350 pages and it will be formally inaugurated through a programme at Kolkata in December, 2010 in presence of esteemed tagoreans and eminent theatre personalities of this time. |
